- 5 players on each side of the zone, zone is divided down the middle by an imaginary line
- Coach spots puck to one team (Team A) who is now on offense, Team B must send 2 players over to Team A's side to try to get the puck.
- Team A plays keep-away (5 vs 2) on their half of the zone.
- When Team B gets the puck, they quickly move it back to their side, where 3 Team B players are waiting, and they rejoin their teammates to play offense.
- Team A must now send 2 players over to defend and try to get the puck back. Game is continuous, and players can also learn to change on the fly.
- Scoring - create your own system for scoring. e.g. 20 seconds possession = 1 point, or reward certain types of passes for points (e.g. no-look passes, scissor/switches, interior passes, bank passes, etc.)
