Players are lined up in two lines behind the divider. 1st player from line one leaves as quickly as can moving backwards and driving around obstacle while facing their starting point. Player 1 receives a pass from next player in their line, then drives net for a quick shot. Player 2 leaves line 2 moving forwards and builds speed driving around the back side of the group to receive a pass from the next player in their line when space allows on the far side. Player 2 continues with puck possession over the top of the obstacle and drives the net for a delayed second shot on net. Player 1 can stay for a tip or screen if desired.
Skaters should work from athletic body position and drive with power strides whether they are moving backwards or forwards.
